This Bauhaus style home with a multi-radius façade, built in the
1930s,was taking water into the internal framework. All the existing
stucco on the front four stories and half of the structural framing
needed to be replaced, as well as all of the structural steel
windows. In order to carry out the six-month long repair, a
temporary support was constructed to keep the house from settling,
a challenge due to the curved design of the building. |
